Set7 is thrilled to receive funding from Libro Credit Union to host an introduction to construction as a career training program. This multiday training will include several certifications while participants gain hands on experience with construction tools and blueprint reading. Stay tuned for more updates!
In February 2023 Set 7 Skills and Technology launched it’s first Women of Steel program in partnership with Fanshawe College and the CWB Welding Foundation. Participants from all walks of life took part in this 10 session program that focused on safety training, theoretical knowledge and practical hands on training geared towards welding. The program also included opportunities to meet and network with local mentors in the industry and fostered confidence in a future career in the skilled trades.
